Stubborn and secretive like his peers, Maturin hides pull-out storage and secret drawers for correspondence and pending files. After work, Maturin closes in the manner of the secretaries of yesteryear thanks to a meticulously crafted mobile screen to conceal the functional space. A graceful animal, it reveals only a subtle play of rays of light crossing the patterns of this backlit wall.
